This week continues the new recipe challenge. I am going to be a bit more judicious with cooking (as leftovers threatened to overtake everything last week). Seriously, leftovers were scary as they commanded most of the presence in the fridge this past week.
Breakfasts: cereal, oatmeal, fruit, leftovers (whatever you can find)
Lunches: leftovers, hot dogs, chicken salad sandwiches, chicken salad on lettuce, snacky lunch
Saturday: Chicken Salad
Sunday: The Best Ever Grilled Margarita Chicken from The Slow Roasted Italian, Italian bread, and fruit
Monday: Slow Cooker Chipotle’s Carnitas (from Better in Bulk), rice, salad (With cleaning the house this week, I doubt I will have time to do all the salsas, etc. for it)
Tuesday: Chicken Parmigiana Meatloaf (Recipe Girl), frozen veg, “mashed potatoes”
Wednesday: Grilled Chicken with Italian Dressing (from way back early in the blog–basically marinate chicken in Italian dressing and grill) with Slow Cooker Cornbread Dressing from Southern Bite
Thursday: Crockpot Macaroni and Cheese from Family Fresh Meals with hot dogs (The guys will probably cut up hot dogs in theirs. I plan to have a hot dog on the side), salad or cut veggies
Friday: Pizza Meatball Subs (converted to Crock Pot) from Kraft Recipes–This one was supposed to be made last week, and it didn’t happen.
Saturday: Pizza Pasta Salad from Pocket Change Gourmet
Sunday: BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad from Kraft Recipes–I will have Josh grill some extra plain chicken on Wednesday to be able to make this salad. Then, we will mix the ranch dressing with some of the barbecue sauce.
So, that’s it. Some days will probably be pre-empted for leftovers.
