Meal Plan Monday

Today, Muffin and I head back to school.  I tried to prep for this week as much as I possibly could.

Josh grilled chicken, smoked sausage, garlic bread, and russet potatoes on Sunday.  I used the leftover chicken for lunches and also for the jambalaya on Wednesday (also the leftover andouille).  I prepped the veggies for the tacos on Sunday, and made the slow cooker cashew chicken on Sunday, as well.

You will notice that some things made the menu again.  No, we didn’t serve them two weeks in a row.  Things went kinda crazy the last part of Spring Break, so those dishes got pushed to this week.

I’m trying to be a bit more organized in prepping Rene’s lunches, mine, and Josh’s.  So, I’m including my plan for those as well.

I begin with (drumroll-please):  the suppers for this week…

Saturday:  hot dog/pizza from Sam’s

Sunday:  grilled chicken, smoked sausage, grilled Texas Toast garlic bread, grilled “baked” potato

Monday:  Slow-Cooker Cashew Chicken from Favorite Family Recipes, rice, green beans

Tuesday:  Taco Tuesday, chips, and salsa

Wednesday:  Jambalaya, cornbread

Thursday:  leftovers or hot dogs

Friday:  Pizza Meatball Subs, chips

Saturday:  Caramelized Black Pepper Chicken (Just a Taste), rice, eggroll

Sunday:  Another Lazy Day Sunday Casserole (Kayotic Kitchen)

Lunches–Muffin:

Monday:  burger, chips, two chocolate chip cookies, apple, water

Tuesday:  pizza, fruit, fruit snacks, water

Wednesday:  taco (with toppings), juice, fruit snack

Thursday:  Lunchable (dessert included), juice, fruit snack

Friday:  hot dog, chips, fruit snack, juice

Lunches–Me:

Monday:  Diablo burger, chips, apple

Tuesday:  leftovers from grill (chicken or sausage, half potato), “tree” cookies

Wednesday:  leftover pizza (if any); if not, taco

Thursday:  leftover jambalaya

Friday:  hot dog

Lunches–Josh:

Monday:  burger, Doritos Mix chips (Free Friday Download from Kroger), apple

Tuesday:  leftovers from grill (chicken or sausage, half potato), Cadbury mini eggs

Wednesday:  leftover pizza or taco (or quesadilla)

Thursday:  leftover jambalaya

Friday:  hot dogs
