Cent-Saving Saturday: Sometimes Items on Sale Are Cheaper Elsewhere

Cent Saving Saturday

So…we’ve all been there.  We are doing the price comparison perusal trying to find the rock-bottom sale price for each item.  If you are like me, as you are creating your list and checking it twice, you are also shocked to find that, when writing down the sales price for an item which is awesome, you find yourself slashing through it (as I always write in ink) as you find lower and lower prices.

That happened twice this week.

Albertson’s had cherries for $2.49/pound.  A pretty decent price.  Super 1 had them for $1.99/pound.  Even better.  Then, my eyes bugged out when I saw Brookshire’s.  I’m going to keep you in suspense until you read the list below.
