Chicken Noodle Soup (from Scrap Materials)

Yes, I did it.  I made the soup.  I made the soup and it was good.

No, seriously.  I used the broth made from boiling the chicken for the chicken spaghetti as well as a few noodles that I was too lazy to fish out of the pot and created the recipe below.

Chicken Noodle Soup

8-12 cups chicken broth (made from boiling chicken breasts in)

3 chicken-flavor bouillon cubes

1/2 large chicken breast, boiled and shredded into tiny pieces

4 carrots, peeled, washed, and minced (and microwaved in a bit of water until soft)

1 tablespoon onion, minced

2 teaspoons parsley flakes

salt and pepper (freshly ground)

1/2 teaspoon thyme

1/4 pound vermicelli (angel hair) pasta, boiled in the chicken broth

Bring broth and noodles to a boil.  Add chicken, onion, carrots, bouillon cubes, parsley, pepper, and thyme.  Taste and add salt as needed.  Serve hot with crackers, bread, a salad, and/or a sandwich.

Enjoy and repeat.
